Our "Clouds" production combines some of the most important, beautiful and original music from the 19th and 20th century with the added impact of an ever changing, designed architecture of light, to help paint a narrative of the extraordinary journey of Messiaen’s ‘Quartet for the End of Time’. 

Messiaen's synesthesia allowed him to see colors whilst hearing music. Combining color, light and music seemed a natural way to enhance the experience for the listener. This program is a journey from the familiar sounds and world that we all recognise around us, to a place far beyond the clouds.
